Writely mostly hits the mark : A Review by AP Reporter

As a reporter, I’m never sure when the muse will strike or an editor will call. That’s why I send copious notes and drafts of stories to myself by e-mail. As long as I’m within range of a computer with an Internet connection, I know I’ll be able to tweak the latest version or do a quick fact check.

Security Hole In Firefox was “Just A Joke”

The allegedly critical hole reported yesterday in Firefox’s JavaScript implementation has turned out, not surprisingly, to be a hoax. Mischa Spiegelmock, who made the claim at the Toorcon hacker conference, told Mozilla’s security chief Window Snyder, “The main purpose of our talk was to be humorous.”

OpenBSD creator wants users to pressure Intel on open source policies

OpenBSD founder Theo de Raadt has written an open letter to the open source software community requesting that users assist in pressuring Intel to provide documentation and change the distribution policies for certain components of its wireless drivers.
