Apple has finally released the Mac OS X 10.4.9 updater to users through the Mac OS X Software Update tool. The 10.4.9 Update is recommended for PowerPC and Intel-based Mac computers currently running Mac OS X Tiger version 10.4.8 and includes general OS fixes, as well as specific fixes or compatibility updates for a number of apps and technologies Filed under: General Comments: 1 Comment

According to postings on Microsoft’s OneCare forum, erasures have been caused when the antivirus programm finds a virus in an email attachment. Instead of then quarantining that single email, users have reported that entire .pst or .dbx files have been deleted, along with other important emails.
