Document Management Tool for Mac OS X using tagging, similar to iPhoto. It is excellent document organizer, with integrated scanning, tagging and thumbnail zoom. Every computer has loads of PDF files, probably scattered all over your hard disk. Use kip to search, view and manage all these documents in one convenient place.

Nintendo DS to Offer Classic Games over Wi-Fi

Nintendo has announced the release of 42 All-Time Classics for Nintento DS, a collection of 42 classic parlor, bar and table games that use the touch screen for control and can be set up as multiplayer games over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Activision Buys Mac Game Developer

“Game publisher Activision Inc. on Wednesday announced it has acquired Beenox Inc., a game developer based in Quebec, Canada. Beenox is best known to Mac gamers as a developer of Mac game conversions—a frequent collaborator with Aspyr Media Inc. that has also worked with MacSoft and THQ.”

50 Terabyte Organic Discs On The Horizon, Maybe

The team estimates that they will have a USB disk on the market in 12 months, and a DVD product 6 to 12 months after that. With a partner like NEC on board, all of that is possible, assuming that the technical challenges have been met already. But the idea has been under development for a long time.

Google Checkout: very close to launching

Google is about to launch a service called “Google Checkout” (not GBuy) to compete with PayPal for website transactions. Garret Rogers from ZDNet does some digging and finds evidence the service is closer to launching that you think!

World’s first 20″ notebook reviewed

Here’s a review of a notebook with a huge 20.1” screen. It’s got pretty much everything inside it including both analogue and digital TV tuners, and twin 120GB striped hard disks. Could this replace your desktop PC?
