Mac-compatible Bluetooth Web cam debuts (Macworld.com)

Macworld.com – Ecamm Network on Friday introduced its BT-1 Bluetooth wireless Web cam, which it calls the world’s first such device. Designed for Mac compatibility, the BT-1 will cost 9.99 when it ships in March. Ecamm plans to show the Web cam at Macworld Expo in San Francisco next week.

Jobs Health Rumor Hits Apple Stock (PC World)

PC World – Apple’s stock fell abruptly on Tuesday, but later recovered some ground, after an online report said CEO Steve Jobs bowed out of next week’s Macworld Expo keynote address because of declining health.

Ambrosia’s EV Nova makes the jump to Universal Binary (Macworld.com)

Macworld.com – I don’t care what people say about gravity, the strong nuclear force, or love—nostalgia is by far the most powerful thing in the entire universe. There is no other way to explain my glee that Ambrosia has released a Universal version of their classic game EV Nova. The third game in the acclaimed Escape Velocity series, EV Nova cast as you a spaceship captain working your way up through the galactic ranks.

HP Will Offer Home Multimedia Server for PCs and Macs (NewsFactor)

NewsFactor – Hewlett-Packard has unveiled a consumer-oriented multimedia server designed to interact with home computing machines running Windows Vista, Windows XP, or Mac OS X. Slated to ship in February, the HP MediaSmart Server automatically aggregates music tracks, photos, videos and other media often distributed over multiple PCs and other computing devices.
